Even very common words like “racism” or “liberty” or “art” are used by different people in different ways. Sometimes intentionally in bad faith.
Liberty is good, but it’s a complex idea. Many libertarians immediately jump to negative liberty as what they mean, but positive liberty is also a thing. Some arguing in bad faith use liberty to mean “me doing what I want without consequences” while more reasonable people refer to the ability for the hypothetical person to do what they want.
