Even if the events that happen to us don’t follow a narrative, we understand them through narrative, a framework of cause and effect
The narratives, emotions, and learning in media is one thing, but the majority of learning about how to feel about a narrative comes from interactions with others, seeing how others accept, reject, or feel about said narrative.
