Evil people hiding in dark rooms discussing how best to murder orphans and destroy the environment aren’t as common as media would have you believe.
I mean, they do exist, sure, but what’s far more terrifying is the fact that evil is perpetuated by people who just don’t care. People who think police corruption just isn’t that big of a deal and that it’s fine to pollute just a little, my actions won’t affect anything.
